Professional Division
Professional Training Program
Cary Ballet Conservatory takes pride in offering the Professional Training Program, catering to students aged 12-20 who are committed to pursuing a professional dance career. This program offers comprehensive training that focuses on developing technical skills, building endurance, and enhancing artistic abilities. Students in the Professional Training Program will have the opportunity to learn and perform various dance styles through a carefully designed curriculum, as well as perform with Cary Ballet Company, the resident pre-professional company.
As students develop into seasoned artists, they will gain a competitive edge for future professional opportunities. The program also offers personalized attention and career guidance in a nurturing environment. PTP students may be invited to additional coaching sessions, which may lead to participation in the Youth American Grand Prix (YAGP) or the American Dance Competition (ADC). However, coaching and competitions are optional and not required for participation in the program.
Additionally, all PTP dancers are required to perform with the non-profit Cary Ballet Company for further performing opportunities. Auditions for PTP are available periodically throughout the year and can be done in person or through video submission.
