About Us

Male and Female Cary Ballet dancers

Founded in 1995, Cary Ballet Conservatory has been a cornerstone of the dance community for nearly three decades. Originally envisioned as “A place to grow,” the Conservatory has nurtured countless dancers, providing a supportive environment where young artists could flourish. Today, our enduring commitment to excellence continues with our new vision, “Dance Skills are Life Skills,” reflecting our belief that the discipline, creativity, and resilience learned in the studio transcend the stage, equipping our students with essential tools for life.

At Cary Ballet, our students and faculty are proud of the warm, hands-on clean, and supportive environment we have cultivated. Our studio is situated in the safe and convenient Preston Corners district of Cary, allowing parents to explore nearby shops and restaurants while their children attend classes and pursue their passion for dance.

Our studios boast expansive and stunning dance spaces adorned with barres and full-length mirrors. The largest studio spans over 3000 square feet, providing ample room for dancers to move. To ensure the safety and comfort of our dancers, we have installed professional-grade, shock-absorbent dance floors using the same manufacturer and installation techniques as the world's most esteemed ballet companies and schools. These sprung floors help to prevent muscle, tendon, and joint injuries and are topped with a specialized, cushioned, non-slip dance surface. In addition, we have male and female restrooms and dressing rooms equipped with convenient storage cubbies and lockers.
